One of my NY Resolutions was to tackle the heap of unfinished projects lurking around here. Today I am going to finish my UFO #2.
I bought an antique quilt top many years ago, when visiting the Blue Mountains. It was a case of love at first sight. It was made in Oregon USA around 1910, from old shirt fabric in 'bow tie' pattern. A few years later, I added a border and liner and did a bit of quilting..............never got it finished! I think I probably gave up on it because it is a fairly wonky old piece, machine sewn in parts and bits of hand stitching, so it went into the 'too hard basket'. It has been waiting over a hundred years for completion....... Today is the day!

Dee, the chair has not been forgotten, a start has been made! I am determined to make 2011 the Year of the UFO!
